Description:

P60 Artist Sharing Programme III — Kenn Lam For the third edition of the P60 Artist Sharing Programme, Impression Taiwan e.V. is delighted to welcome Kenn Lam, a Singaporean illustrator and visual artist based in Berlin. Following his solo exhibition Pepper & Wine, I'm Doing Fine!, Kenn brings a selection of existing and newly created works to P60. Through richly detailed illustrations, he explores food and language as shared cultural vocabularies, revealing how recipes, ingredients, and meals carry memories across places and generations. His work invites us to think about food not simply as nourishment, but as a way of remembering, adapting, and belonging. Opening Night Special Join us for a special collaboration with Amami Berlin, featuring an exclusive ice cream flavour created for the exhibition. Through illustration, conversation, and taste, the opening extends Kenn's exploration of food as a carrier of memory and cultural experience. We look forward to welcoming you to an evening of illustration, conversation, and food-inspired storytelling.

Meet the Artist — Kenn Lam Kenn Lam is a Singaporean illustrator and visual artist based in Berlin. Artist Statement “I'm an artist and illustrator drawn to the disparity between people's ideas of what ‘normal’ means. My work weaves together influences from East, Southeast Asian, and European aesthetics, often leaning into the ornamental, the layered, and the decadent.” Kenn's illustrations have been commissioned by clients including HarperCollins, Bowmore, Compass Box, The Independent, Vittles, and Eater, and have been exhibited at the New-York Historical Society Museum and the Society of Illustrators in New York.
