About the film: Inspired by Tshn̂g-bú, the Taiwanese Goddess of Sleep, the film adopts a subjective camera as the goddess’s gaze.
In the limbo between waking and sleeping, adults’ hidden desires surface as they endure life’s hardships and pursue unattainable answers.
Moving through spaces from crowded flats to luxury apartments, the film reveals how sleep is shaped by class yet transcends it.
Blending reality with experimental visual and sonic elements, the film offers a poetic documentary that drifts between fiction and non-fiction.

About the Director - HO Chao-ti
HO Chao-ti is a documentary filmmaker and director whose work focuses on marginal and non-mainstream subjects. For many years, her films have explored themes such as the impact of globalisation, contemporary cultural hybridity, and overlooked social realities. Alongside her work as an independent director and producer, she also serves as the Taiwan-based production coordinator at CNEX Foundation, supporting documentary projects across Asia.
Her practice is rooted in careful observation, poetic storytelling, and a sensitivity to voices often left outside dominant narratives.
