Pride Month with Taiwan Docs β€οΈπ§‘ππππ
βWhat are you looking for?β
From the rise of dating apps in the 2010s all the way to nowadays, this seemingly simple question still brings a sense of uncertainty, leaving many of us wondering how to actually put our desires and expectations into words.
Maybe it's a chance to find out a little bit? π
In this month's Taiwan Docs Screening, we are showing π Looking for? (δ½ ζΎδ»ιΊΌοΌ) π by director Chou Tung-Yen (ε¨ζ±ε½₯), a film nominated for Best Documentary at the Golden Horse Awards.
The story dives into the digital dating culture among gay men, featuring authentic, raw, and witty dialogues with 60 individuals from various backgrounds.
It's about the quest for love, the craving for intimacy, and all the funny or awkward moments in between.
Though filmed in 2017, the documentary captures the complexities of modern dating culture and our universal search for connection.
Whether you have navigated dating apps yourself or simply want to reflect on the ways we seek love today, we invite you to join us for this screening and an afternoon of shared stories and conversations. π
