Description:
The Unresolved
An experimental live project by Xingqi Liu
P60 welcomes Berlin-based artist Xingqi Liu for an intimate evening of sound and performance.
Working across sound, performance, photography, and documentary, Xingqi's practice explores the relationship between sound, physical movement, and symbolic objects. Through live electronics, voice, and performative actions, she creates works that engage with themes of identity, feminism, memory, and embodied experience.
About The Unresolved
The Unresolved is a new live performance developed in response to personal experiences and recent public discussions around women's safety, vulnerability, and justice.
Using condoms, a judge's gavel, sampled voices, and electronic noise, Xingqi moves through emotions of anger, resistance, accusation, questioning, and powerlessness.
Rather than offering clear answers, the work creates a space for reflection on what remains unresolved ā both personally and collectively.
Each performance may take a different form and can include moments of audience participation, blurring the boundaries between stage and reality.
